I've grown up with dogs my entire life. I started pet sitting at the age of 9 for my neighbors and family. I also have 2 dogs of my own, and they are the light of my life! For the past 5 years I have been a volunteer at a humane society where I work one on one with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've worked at several adoption events and rehabilitated countless wonderful dogs to help them find their forever homes. Im currently finishing up my degree so my schedule is very flexible. When pet sitting, I really make it a mission to bond with the animal and make sure they enjoy having me around as much as I enjoy them. I try to be as active as possible and play and walk the animals until they are content, but I know some need more than that. I'm entirely comfortable just hanging out with your dog in a quiet setting making them feel happier.
