Pet care experience
Hello! I moved to Fort Collins for grad school about 3 yrs ago and would love to take your dog with me on some of my adventures as I explore around town and the surrounding area 😊 I grew up in a multiple pet family with always at least 3 dogs, currently owning one who is very high energy, so I'm happy to incorporate my active lifestyle into making sure your dog has fun too! I've worked for veterinarians as well as specialty dog boarding/day care services before. I've supervised playtime with large groups as well as provided one on one care for dogs of all ages and needs. I also have a bachelor's and master's degree in animal sciences, so with my job experiences and professional experiences, I know I have the ability to make sure your dog (regardless of age and/activity level) is well taken care of in addition to having a fun time with me. Also, if your dog likes having playmates, mine will happily oblige and can bring toys to share! I'm excited to meet your pooch :) Sorry, I CANNOT pet sit cats I am very allergic! I am able to do check ins but cannot stay at your house.

I like to spend as much time as I can in your home with your dog if I am house sitting, such as sleeping over ( if you are comfortable with it). Also if they like car rides, I have a 4runner that has plenty of space to add a crate in the back so your pup can safely tag along for an adventure during the day.

A few things I'd like to know in addition to Rover's questions: - Does you dog like to socialize with other dogs? If so, we can go to dog parks or I can even bring mine along if yours is happy to have friends to play with. - How well does your dog listen to commands from other people? - Is there anything in particular your dog really enjoys to do and is there anything they absolutely hate to do?
A typical day
I really enjoy exploring neighborhoods during my dog walks. Depending on the activity level of your pooch, we can go for hikes together. I especially like finding new parks to explore! If you have somewhere you regularly go ( like the dog park), I'd be happy to include it. If we're just staying at home, I'm happy to play inside or outside with your dog, whether it be with toys, practicing commands, or just pampering.

Availability
Every weekday I walk my dog in the morning, at lunchtime and after work, so it's easy to schedule another walk during these times. Usually my evening walks are the longest, and during the months with more daylight we try to hit the dog park. On weekends, I'm almost always finding somewhere new to hike with my dog and have extra long ropes to tie to dog harnesses for new friends to tag along!
