Pet care experience
Started in dog rescue at 17, slowly transitioned to cat rescue at the age of 19, where I then transitioned to pet pig rescue at 22. I operated my own private rescue from June 2018 to January 2022. I cared for over 100 animals at one time. Those animals consisted of horses, mini pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats, fowl, & even rodents. Relocated from Missouri, after a lot of life changes, to Austin TX. I currently have 2 dogs & 3 cats as my only in house companions. My 3 horses and 2 pigs are in boarding until I can get a piece of property down here. I've been in Texas for nearly a year and finally have my schedule figured out in order to allow me to dedicate more time to the animal world again.

Tori has been exceptional with my little Hoz! He’s come home worn out everyday from daycare! He practically jumps in her arms now when we trade off. I appreciate the drop off and pick up around my job. I will definitely be using Tori in the near future!
This was my first time using a service like Rover.com and I was apprehensive about giving my house key to someone I'd met once and trusting that person to take good care of my two cats. When Tori and her husband came over to meet me and my cats, I felt better due to their good energy and obvious love of animals. They have several furry friends themselves. Tori kept me updated on every visit and responded in a short time frame when I contacted her. My older cat was afraid most of the time and hid in the closet. Tori went out of her way to make sure he was eating and to try to make him feel safe. She also made sure my other cat took his pill every day. She did a great job with my cats and I will definitely hire her again!
Tori is a sweetheart and has a bountiful love for all animals. She watched my dog for the weekend, and I got many pictures and messages during my time away to help reassure me. Much appreciated! Thank you, Tori!

In your home I can follow instructions to a T. In my lifetime I've raised and trained several dozen puppies, kittens, piglets and even my first foal. Structure and schedule are number one priorities when training animals. I have experience with crate training, potty training, basic obedience training, livestock guardian training, medication administration, under age puppy care, under age kitten care, & underage piglet care.

I simply need to know what I'm getting myself into. Age, personality, behaviors to watch out for...etc Do we have a "can't stray from" medication or feeding schedule to adhere to? Are we limited to what exercises we can or can't do? Do we avoid other animals because we're picky about our friends? Or do we have the green light for all parties approved play?
A typical day
I want to give them the best sitting experience ever. If they want to play fetch for 2 hours, bring it on! If they want to go for a 4 hour hike, let's go! If their favorite activity is being brushed, I'm on it! Whatever they typically don't get to do, I want to help give them those extra experiences.

I am my own boss. I trim hooves of goats, sheep, and mini pigs for a living and create my own schedule. Prior to this year I was working for a doggy daycare primarily and for myself secondarily. This year I'm working for myself and it is rare that I'm gone for more than 4 hours a day.
