Hi! My name is Tori. I'm originally from Massachusetts, where as a kid I developed a strong attachment to the surrounding nature and to our family dog: a sweet, smart, and rebellious mutt named Kobe who I could talk about all day. In addition to animal care, I’m also a full time social worker with a local non-profit supporting immigrants and refugees. While my professional work has mostly involved caring for people, taking care of animals has always been an important part of my life. I've helped to train and care for many friends’ dogs, have been a volunteer dog walker at the SPCA, and have cared for and walked dogs professionally off and on for years. I hope to one day be able to offer animal-assisted therapy in social service settings. I offer a sensitive, thoughtful, and playful approach to animal care that's based on forming a special relationship with each and every animal. My sincere desire to help dogs to be healthy and happy means that yours will receive a whole lot of love, play, and attention, no matter the service. I'll also happily care for cats as well although I am a bit allergic so have to take some precautions! I'd love to gain experience caring for other animals too.
