Thanks for stopping by my page - I am a 28 year old Social Worker that works flexible hours in Vancouver. I have a beautiful home in East Vancouver and am right beside Rupert Park, which features a nice walking loop and two open fields for extra exercise! I love dogs and cats and had pets in the home growing up; they were always part of the family. I provide walks of varying length/physical fitness level from a park stroll to a trail run. I mainly do house sitting; however, am happy to do in-home visits or dog-walking to keep your pet feeling loved, happy, and fit if you have a busy work schedule. I do not offer boarding at my home as we have an elderly cat who needs his space. Please reach out and I will do my best to accommodate your request and make your vacation or getaway completely stress free!

She has been missing our dog Teddy and isn't able to have a dog of her own right now so dog walking is the perfect opportunity for her to love and care for someone else's dog! Tonya loves exploring the many great parks and trails around the Fraser Valley and would take your dog on many fun adventures. I would definitely recommend her for your dog, large or small!

Feel free to include as much information about your pet as possible. The more the better. After various experiences, I no longer accept walks and house sitting requests for highly reactive pets or ones that have high stress/separation anxiety, such as aggression, howling, etc. I find it is not an enriching experience for the dogs and I am not a specially trained dog behaviourist.
A typical day
I will treat your home as though it is my own and care for all the details. Your pet and their needs will be top priority. Walks, feeding, and downtime are all important and I am curious to hear about your pet's interests and routines as each dog and cat is highly unique. If you are working on specific training, those practices will be upheld during the time your pet is in my care as consistency is extremely important.

I am currently off work for the Christmas Holiday and have early mornings to evenings available; therefore, I can devote a lot of time and love to your pet.
