Tony has been walking our Golden Retriever since she was a young pup. (she's almost 2 now). In the beginning, I was nervous he'd just let her walk way ahead of him and pull, and she'd end up with bad habits. BUT, come to find out, Tony is more than a dog walker, he is a really great trainer as well! He not only made sure our dog walked well on the leash, but also had a lot of great tips on obedience training, and how to do it in a gentle and humane way. My husband's recovering from an illness, and we've had many days recently where we've had to drive a couple hours away to doctor and rehab appointments, and have been gone for most of the day. We don't want to leave our sweet dog stuck in the crate all day, and Tony has been great about working with us, even when we call him last minute. Depending on our needs, he'll come by several times a day to walk her or, when we need him for just a quick break, he'll swing by and hang out and play with her at our house. He's really been a lifesaver for us, and the best part is that he's also been a true pleasure to work with. Tony is personable, friendly, honorable and trustworthy and we are extremely grateful to have found him. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a responsible, kind and trustworthy caretaker for their dog - be it just for daily walks, or to dog sit in the home while away on vacation. He's just the best.
