Most inns and rentals in the Austin area, don't allow dogs (or charge exorbitant fees!) so, rather than leave your pup(s) at home or a kennel why not have them stay nearby with us? You are welcome to visit them but we'll be sending lots of fun pics as they enjoy their visit at Casa Flo! Just, please, don't let them stay in a kennel! Our beautiful home in the community of Teravista is in the bedroom community of Round Rock yet only 20 minutes from downtown Austin. It is filled with parks and trails to explore on walks. In fact, there's a lovely pond and park right across the street! Very dog-friendly year-round. Our large dog-safe home is on a very private street where we will care for your pup(s) as our own. Our Dexter and Bodhi are super accommodating and welcome all canine playmates. We will never have more than two guest dogs in our home at any time. Our rate of $50 per night is for 1 guest for 1 - 24 hour period. For 2 of your pups it's $100. Late pick-ups much beyond 24 hours (+/- 2 hours) are charged as a $40 daycare stay. Why I love dog sitting We are huge dog lovers and stop to chat anytime a pup comes near. We've each been accused of also being a Dog Whisperers. ;) About my yard Our property is fenced to provide a secure play yard. There is a large park area with a pond directly across from the house as well as numerous miles of trails throughout the community. On our street no one drives over 20 mph. We use leashes whenever we go for walks through the neighborhood. My experience administering medication We are not vets but will gladly give oral and injected meds. We've both self-administered injections with our own pets and will be happy to learn a specific technique if necessary for your and your pup's comfort and well-being.
