Pet care experience
I have been around a fair amount of various sizes and types of animals. I started caring for animals professionally when I was just 14 volunteering at a local non-kill shelter, Friends For Life. I spent over five years caring for both the cats and dogs. I would play with, pamper, get to know and help adopt out the cats, with the dogs I would accompany adult volunteers on walks, give the dogs their exercise with play, and would help with adoptions here and there. My first job experience with animals began with Pete and Mac's boarding service as well as Gilbert Dogs 24/7. I cleaned dishes, the floor, prepared foods, whether they had special diets or not, and spent some quality time with the animals; tons of play in the yard/room of the facilities, some mild grooming: baths, brushing, and a few shaves. We absolutely LOVE Toni and will have her come every time we travel. She is amazing with our dogs (a 14 year old blind Pitbull and a crazy pocket pittie) and is so easy to communicate with. She is just the model petsitter and exactly what we all hope to find - sweet, loves animals, honest, and does all she can to be flexible (even if it means getting up REALLY EARLY to fit is in). I’d recommend Toni to anyone. ❤️ And the pups are very thankful!

I have a large fenced backyard, unfortunately no doggie door installed but I do leave the door open for them when the temperature is cooler so they can come and go to the bathroom when they please. If your dog requires a crate for a place to rest I have space to do so, otherwise I have the kitchen/living space fenced up so they have plenty of room to wander and feel free to bring their bed so they have a familiar scent to be around during their stay. I dont have any pets of my own, so if your dog needs to be boarded by themselves I have the space to do so.

A typical day
Behind my home there is a walking path and two fields down the way, there is plenty of space to take the dogs for walks when the temperature allows. I also have a pool in my backyard if your pup is a swimmer, if they need a water jacket feel free to bring it along and any toys they enjoy playing with so they can also run around and have fun in the backyard.
