Hey dog owners! Been doing Rover since 2019 and I absolutely LOVE it! My Mom was a veterinarian and my Dad was a police k9 handler/trainer (both now retired), so I’ve been in the doggy/animal realm my entire life. I’ve been volunteering at shelters all around the country since 2005 with most recently weekend-fostering shelter dogs providing training, companionship, and fun outside the shelter environment. I worked as the sole Summer handler at a sled dog kennel (30 dogs) in Denali Alaska and have 2 years experience in the Veterinary assistant world. As you can see it's a big part of my life! I'm not able to have a dog of my own at present, so I resort to getting my four legged buddy fix through yours! It's more fun for me than a job. Plus I'm ALWAYS learning something new with every client and animal.

I've known Tom for mamy years- he's trustworthy & reliable snd he loves animals and they love him! A great sitter!
Tom was the absolute best dog sitter and house sitter. He gave us some pointers on walking our big Akita puppy and even got my picky Shih Tzu to eat. He also snow blowed our driveway which was above and beyond! We came home to a clean house and happy dogs!
Tom took great care of our 3 dogs while we were gone. They were brushed out, tired, and had new tennis balls when we came home.
Tom is awesome. I have used Tom as a sitter for my dog twice now. He stays at my house with my dog while I travel. My dog is 10 years old going on 2 years old. He has tons of energy and can be very stubborn. It does not bother Tom, he spends tons of time with my dog taking him on hikes to wear him out and brings toys over to stimulate him. Tom is my go to sitter, I could not imagine using anybody else. I highly, highly recommend Tom!

When I'm in your home I treat your dog like they're mine (and I treat my own dogs better than most people treat their children). Dog is never off leash when outside the home (even if trained and perfect). Dog is ALWAYS supervised in a fenced in yard. I try to keep feeding and outdoor times consistent with what the client does when normally home. When walking around the neighborhood I move off trail/road if another dog/person approaches as a precaution. I create a medication checklist for the duration of the stay to ensure everything is covered and nothing is forgotten. I'm incredibly thorough and everything will be gone over in a meet and greet prior to the stay (mandatory).

Information that I'll ask before booking include: -How does the animal do with other dogs/cats/children? -Does the animal have any fears (hats, tall people, stairs)? -What is the animals activity level? -What are the feeding and medication times? -What degree of training is the animal at? -What words are used for commands? -Spayed/Neutered (when was last heat)?
A typical day
I can do it all!! We'll go on walks, hiking adventures, swimming adventures, running (up to 7 miles at present), snow shoeing adventures. Whatever you need, we can talk.

As far as schedule goes, I work in Bridgeport, CA M-F 0800 to 1630 with weekends off and live in Wellington, NV. I work in office, so will not be able to provide care during that 8hr time (plus drive time to your place). I'm available 100% on weekends.
