My friends jokingly call me Dr. Doolittle. Animals are my passion and first love. For 5 years we lived in a little cottage off a dirt road next to the ocean on the North Shore of Kauai, and nearly every day a dog, cat or bird (yes, even the Mynahs or wild Chickens) would come to our door for a visit. Some we knew, and some we'd never met. All would stop by because they could tell they were near an animal loving house. Animals have a sixth sense about where they will be safe and loved. Lost animals, injured or hungry animals and animals just wanting some affection or to nap on our floor somehow would find their way to our home. 🌸 MY STYLE 🌸 I have a soothing and calming way with animals and their owners. Dogs immediately know that with me that they have a solid pack leader who helps them feel secure, and someone with a mothering instinct who can recognize and meet their needs. Cats, birds, rabbits, lizards, rats.... Having raised dogs all of his life, he has a gentle, firm authority with even the most alpha pups. He is particularly skilled at training dogs. Cats melt whenever they meet him. And he gives the BEST animal massages. 🐾OUR PET CARE EXPERIENCE: 🐾 My husband and I raised our Labrador Bodhi in our yoga studio where we managed over 35 classes a week, including parent/infant and children's classes. We said goodbye to our girl a couple of years ago, but raising her in a vibrant yoga community taught us so much about caring for dogs around all kinds of people and in a wide variety of situations. I've been pet sitting and dog walking professionally for 6 years now, and caring for animals for over 17 years. Jordan has also been pet sitting for 6 years, and caring for animals all of his life. The animals we've cared for over the years have become dear to us, along with their families. It really is a joy and honor to take care of these amazing beings and bring some ease and peace to their human companions. 🐕 EXERCISE FOR YOUR DOG 🐕 As an avid hiker, walker and beach explorer, dogs in our care get the exercise they need.
