Welcome to my Profile! My name is Toffy. I'm originally from Austria, where I grew up with all sorts of animals (dogs, cows, sheep, cats, mice… you name it). Now I work as a part time circus artist & producer. To balance out days in front of the PC I love to walk and sit dogs & cats. I’ve always felt naturally connected with dogs and have studied how to train dog (self study). Which helps me with my work as dog walker / sitter. 🐕🐩 I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’m confident with bigger breeds (doberman, greyhounds, german sheperds, labradors…) and have no problem with a dog who pulls or is trying to test their boundaries. I’m able to quickly connect with most anxious dogs and accommodate for disabilities. (E.g. paraplegic or blind). I’m very reliable and an early riser so taking your dog in the morning is my pleasure. Also evenings and afternoons work well. I’m now taking bookings for Christmas time and still have a couple dates available! Toffy did a wonderful job of day sitting Scully. He kept me updated with photos throughout the day, which was both reassuring and great to see how much effort he put into making sure she had a fun-filled time. Lots of playing and activities, exactly what a Labrador needs!

I only offer sitting in your home / house, as my current home does not allow pets. I can stay with your pet during the day. I always follow the provideds instructions and if things are unclear I communicate through the provided messaging channels (either here or whatsapp)

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or unusual behaviour! Such as anxiety, fears, reactivity and medical background. The more I know upfront the better I can adjust to the Dogs needs.
A typical day
On a typical day: I usually arrive at the dogs place. First thing is to get familiar with the dog which is easiest done by going for a walk on the lead. We usually head to the nearest park for a wonder and understand the character of the dog. For dogs that I’m familiar with I’d bring some toys and we’d have a play to get the energy out. After heading back we’d make sure to have some chew toys available to have some mental stimulation during the stay. I love to run through the known commands and see if we can work on new ones. We’d usually go on a wee break every 2-4 and make sure that he is fed according to schedule.

Availability
I can work from home for 90% of my second work as producer. I can accommodate for most schedules (e.g. dogs that can’t be left alone for very long, if I know in advance). Dogs who can’t be left at all are also possible but incur some higher costs (e.g. food delivery services)
