There just isn’t anything better than getting to spend time with pups that just want to make you happy. Dogs have been a part of my life for a very long time, and I am all too excited to get the opportunity to continue to work with them! I’ve had pups of my own of all sorts of breeds and varieties, including my two Great Danes (although they don’t live with me at the moment). I’ve done some volunteer work at a Great Dane and Pit Bull rescue in Indiana as well with local pounds in Oklahoma and have learned a great deal about how to provide proper love and care for pups. Doing what I can to make a stay as perfect as possible is the name of my game. I like to schedule meet-and-greets before a stay begins just so we can have the opportunity to get acclimated to each other. It also gives me a great opportunity to learn about what makes your pup tick! It’s important for me to know if your pup has a certain schedule that they like to stick to, any particular needs or likes -- those kinds of things. During a stay, I’ll be in regular communication with you via text and picture messages so you can be kept up to date on how your pup is doing! Portland is a great place to have pups. I try to stay active, which makes me a good fit for pups that enjoy getting out and getting tons of exercise. I try and walk between six and ten miles a day, and there’s just nothing better than having a canine co-pilot along for a good walk! There are tons of places to explore, and I’m happy to visit as many as possible during a stay! Getting to explore the local trails and paths is one of my all-time favorite activities.
