I'm a stay-at-home, award-winning writer, artist, and musician/songwriter. I also dabble in some free-lance fundraising work, which is what I did professionally for the last 14+ years. I've essentially retired from the 9-5 world. That means I'll have a lot of time (quantity AND quality) and flexibility to devote to taking care of your best friend! We will hang out, take walks, have long conversations, enjoy playtime, and much more. Lots of one-to-one attention for your buddy. Growing up, we were always surrounded by animals. Two dogs, typically. A youngster and "the elder." There were cats, horses, various birds, gerbils, hamsters, turtles, fish, etc. Our mom was the dog whisperer and I like to think I inherited some of that DNA. I'm responsible, reliable, empathetic, patient, compassionate, fun, playful, calm, considerate and I love dogs and cats. I'm a dog AND cat person. I'm an outdoorsy-type, so love to walk and explore. I know it can be hard on dogs, and even cats, when their owners are away and some "stranger" is taking care of them. I try and let them know I get that. Every dog is different, but they are all special.
