Tina's Dog Taining

Pet care experience

My goal is provide transparent care for your pet. I am happy to offer walks, in home or in my home stays, as well as dog training. I assess each dogs individual needs and use positive reinforcement whether it's a puppy that needs potty training or an older dog that needs couch cuddles and medicine. I am confident in my ability to offer pets medical care - as in pills, injections, wound cleaning, post op care, grooming, nail trims, and teaching you these things as well! Ever since I was a kid I have loved training and working with dogs. My first job was at a show and boarding kennel in Granite Bay. From there I worked closely with large and small animal veterinarians as a veterinary assistant. I have also mastered dog grooming, worked extensively with cattle and horses, studied animal husbandry, and trained cattle dogs. My passion is to help people better understand their pets needs and facilitate tools for people to build a strong fulfilling bond between them. I love starting puppies and guiding them towards being upstanding citizens! Crate training and kenneling are available in my home during your pets stay.

Tina is an ideal candidate to provide gentle, firm and loving care to your furry family members. At a very young age she demonstrated a unique and admirable connection to animals of all types. As a child she personally trained our dogs without having had any "training" herself! I see this trait as one of her many "gifts". Over the years she has gained experience while training and caring for her own dogs, as well as training and caring for those of others. Additionally, she has a comprehensive knowledge of animal health and wellness; particularly of dogs and horses. Tina is trustworthy, loyal, compassionate and creative. I am proud to say that she is my Daughter!

Tina has been pet sitting for us for the last few months. She cares for our dog Remy as if he were her own. She is compassionate, responsible and professional. She has had to take Remy to the vet while we were away, and handled it beautifully. She has also been willing to give my dog the medicine he needed.

To whom it may concern, Tina W. is the ultimate pet & horse whisperer. She trained our dog Brody and we couldn't have asked for a better, more well-mannered companion dog thanks to Tina's help. Tina is very patient and caring, and is extremely knowledgeable. We've learned so much from her that both my young daughter and I have been able to apply to daily routines with our dog. Tina has such a great personality as well and is very approachable to discuss issues and concerns. We highly recommend her. She's also incredible with horses too, and we've seen her in action with her own pets.
