Dogs feel 'at home' and loved here!

Pet care experience

I have had dogs my entire life, with breeds from Chihuahua to Mastiff and all in between! I absolutely LOVE all of them! I provide love, compassion and fun with my care. Like people, every dog has a unique personality, with their likes, dislikes, and abilities. I will work to get to know your dog to help make their stay as happy as possible. I have an extra soft spot for elderly dogs. I have cared for dogs with diabetes, arthritis, and cancer and I take extra care to ensure the comfort and happiness of ailing dogs. In addition to my experience, I have completed all available training to include dog body language, zoonotic disease, as well as therapy dog handler training, etc. When you pick up your dog, you will know they have been treated with love, kindness and compassion.

Very happy with the help Tina provided us. She played with our kitties and dog, took short videos of our babies and sent them to us, & even cleaned out kitty water bowls for them. The videos were a nice touch. This gave us peace of mind our fur babies were fine while we were on vacation. Would definitely book her again!

We went out of town for 4 days and Tina was AMAZING with our animals (2 German shorthair pointers and 2 turtles). This is the second time that she has cared for our animals while we were away and we are so pleased with the love and care that she shows. I would absolutely recommend Tina to care for your animal family!

Tina took excellent care of our 14 year-old dachshund while we were out of town. I could tell he would be safe and well cared for with her. We received plenty of updates and he seemed to be very comfortable and happy and had a great time. I'm so glad I found someone I can trust to care for my dog and would highly recommend to other dog owners.

Information Tina V. would like to know about your pet

I will want to have a discussion about your dog's personality, likes, dislikes, and preferences. I will also want to know if there is anything in particular that frightens your dog (i.e. noises, objects, etc.). I will want to know what commands your dog understands and if your dog knows how to walk on a leash, etc. Are there any food/treat allergies? Is the dog up to date on shots? Has your dog had a recent wellness exam? Have you checked your dog for fleas, ticks, worms, etc.?

A typical day

During the summer months, I will not walk your dog until late in the evening, when the sidewalk has cooled down to a temperature that is comfortable for their paws. I have a variety of safe dog toys, but your dog will nevertheless be supervised during playtime. You can also bring your dogs' favorite toy, so they can feel more at home right away.
