Tina did a great job of watching Brady. She communicated well, send me plenty pictures during the day, and fed him lunch. Brady was exhausted when he got home after a fun day of playing with his new friends. Thanks!

My dog Kaha was attacked TWICE by a 1 year old pit bull while staying with Tina and her boyfriend. I was notified about the first incident; however, after the second attack happened my dog was taken to a hospital WITHOUT my knowledge or consent and given stitches over his eye, ear, and cheek. I was not notified about this incident and to my horror only found out when I came to pick up my dog. These were very deep wounds. The first attack left my dog Kaha with a punctured cheek. The second attack tore his mouth, left ear, and eyelid in half, all of which he received stitches. He may be permanently disfigured from his stay with Tina. What I cannot understand is that I provided my Vet's information when registering with Rover / Tina as well as my spouse's information as an emergency contact. I would have wanted to know and be able to pick my Kaha up and be with him during this time, yet he was driven 32 miles (round trip) to a hospital when my Vet was right around the corner and has a fully equipped surgery center. He was then returned to the scene of the attack and made to spend the night when he could have been with us. We absolutely should have been notified. I am also mystified to know how the VCA hospital could have administered treatment such as medication and a medical procedure to an animal without his owner's consent? I feel there is more going on here than was told to me. I also did not like the fact that I was not allowed to speak to Tina, but her "boyfriend" interceded in this situation when picking Kaha up. That was not right and seemed very out of place. My worry is that our pets cannot speak for themselves, therefore it is our (the owner's) responsibility to ensure that our pets have the best care possible and bring these situations to light. I would not wish anyone else to go through what we and our dog Kaha went through which is the reason I am writing this review.
