We are experienced pet owners who take a loving and compassionate approach to pet care. We sympathize with the worries, and concerns that arise with having to board, that's why we're dedicated to treating your pet with the same love, attention, and care that we give to our own pup. We have extensive experience with caring for both terminally ill dogs, and cats. You can rest assure that your pet will be taken care of by seasoned trustworthy pet veterans! Rates for LARGE DOGS, PUPPIES, & HOLIDAYS are listed at the bottom of the page. A typical stay for your pup would include lots of fun, exercise and outdoor activities mixed with lazy snuggling down time. We live close to Runyon Canyon, and some awesome dog parks so your pup will definitely enjoy some quality off leash time, unless a special health condition applies. Your pup is guaranteed to get a minimum of four daily strolls throughout the lovely tree lined grassy streets in our West Hollywood neighborhood. Evenings are generally the time when Rya (our mellow and sweet black lab), and pet guests are snuggled in between us on the couch getting lots of head, and belly rubs, or engaged in playing with their toys, and each other. If you prefer to have your pup stay in the comforts of your home, we can offer a sitting service, or drop-in visits throughout the day. We LOVE cats too!!! And we'd be delighted to visit your kitty while you're away to make sure that he/she has fresh water, food, a clean cat box, and lots of play and love! We had a terminally ill kitty whom we nurtured till old age so we're extremely experienced with administering oral medicine, and a liquid diet to cats with special needs. We're animal lovers who are firm supporters of adopting and fostering strays, and all of our pets have been rescues. My experience administering medication Yes. Because of our own experience with caring for our own pets in their senior years we are very comfortable and efficient with administering oral medication and medical wipes to both cats and dogs. We do not, however, have any experience with needle injections.

Tina was the first sitter I ever used on Rover. She was so great I never went to anyone else for over a year. Tina became our dog's second home. She had a lab who was similar in size to our pit mix. They did Runyon together many times. Once, while we were on a hiking exhibition, we got stuck on a mountain over night and couldn't call Tina to let her know we'd be 24 hours late picking up our dog. Once we got back to cell service we called to let her know and everyone was relived the trip was over. As a thank you we took Tina and her family the worlds most delicious pie from a bakery in Bishop CA. That's the level of love we have for Tina. Sadly we moved away from the West Hollywood area and had to find new dog hosts for our pooch. But Tina was always the best.
Tina and Shaun are just amazing! My dog Bean had the best time with them, and I trust her to their care without reservation (which is saying a lot, Bean is my precious baby, after all!) They know dogs, their place is dog heaven and I am so thrilled & relieved to have found such great sitters. Highly recommend.
Tina is the best! My girls were so happy when they got back that they came to us but then ran back to Tina and Shaun to say bye! I don't think they've ever done that. The updates were great and it was so nice to know that during my most stressful week away at work that Tina and Shaun were there to love my dogs, giving them such loving care.
Absolutely the best! I never ever worry when Walter is with the gang at Tina's!

We like to know your dog's demeanor, personality and any special preferences. What does he/she like or dislike? What is their eating and sleeping schedule, and do you allow them on furniture? Is it okay for us to go on hikes and runs, and if so do you prefer that they be kept on their leash. We feel that it is important to make sure that we're consistent with your training rules, treat routines, and other rituals so that your pup can feel comfortable with the familiar. We also encourage packing your pup's dog bed, favorite toys, treats, and a article of your clothing so that they can feel at home. We have no breed preferences. We do not, however, board dogs who have aggressive behavior.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We would take walks along N Hayworth, N Fairfax, N Orange Grove Ave, and N Ogden Dr, between Sunset and Santa Monica Blvd. These are lovely tree lined streets with lots of grassy patches and little traffic, perfect for new smells and peaceful strolls. Your dog's sleeping arrangement You dog is welcomed to sleep anywhere in the house, on the couch, on our chair, and in any of the dog beds. The only place that your pup, and ours, is not allowed to sleep is the bed. We do recommend that you pack their dog bed with them for their stay and an article of your clothing so that they can feel at home and have the option to rest on something familiar as well. Time I'll spend with your dog Both Shaun and I work from home so your pup will received full-time attention and care. Extra house-sitting services In addition to a guaranteed minimum of 30 minutes of love, attention and activity being given to your pets for all dog walking and visiting cat care sessions, we can absolutely water plants and bring in mail if you're away. Just let us know in advance. If we are pet-sitting overnight at your place, you can also expect your home to be treated with respect and left as you found it.
