If I won the lottery, I would buy a million acres of land just to rescue and keep dogs alive and happy. Because I don't play the lottery, I settle for being thankful for each opportunity I have to spend with each and every dog in my path. I know some dogs are quirky (mine are for sure), so I like to take the time to find out what makes them the most comfortable with a new person, and keep their routine as consistent as possible. Honestly, if I had my way, I would just lay on the floor and snuggle with them the whole time, but I know that is not realistic, so I am happy to provide exactly what each individual dog family member needs to be content.
