Pet care experience
I’m a thoughtful, dependable feline enthusiast (cat lady) who provides above-and-beyond care catered to each cat’s unique needs and temperament. As a cat ‘parent’ and sitter with 25+ years’ experience caring for them (including volunteer work in the cat wing at an animal shelter), I appreciate that they are sensitive, perceptive, weird little creatures who thrive when a sitter can quickly understand and adapt to them. My wide-ranging care experience includes high-energy kittens, elderly cats needing a calm companion, cats requiring time-sensitive medical administration and dozens of cats with specific preferences, such as water served in a tall glass or wet food microwaved for precisely eight seconds. I'll cater to whatever special quirk helps ensure a cat is comfortable and happy while you’re away.
Reviews
Tina is amazing!! It gives us peace of mind knowing our cat Stevie is in great hands when we’re away. We are so grateful for Tina!
Great job Tina. Both cats are calm and happy. Jake slept under the covers with me last night and Maggie keeps climbing in my lap.
Tina is always really great with our two cats and gives them the attention they need!
Tina was wonderful as always!

I’m astute and thorough. If you’re someone who loves detail-oriented Rover Cards (end-of-visit updates) filled with photos and written observations on your cat’s behavior and cute moments, then I'm the sitter for you. If your cat is elderly and/or has pre-existing health issues, I’ll emphasize that I am quick to detect the slightest change/oddity in a cat’s behavior, will spend time reflecting on cause and effect, and adjust accordingly if needed. It’s important to me that clients have sound of mind while they’re away from their cat(s). My cats Simpkin and Nutmeg are the most precious loves of my life, and I’ll value and treat your cats with the same level of warmth, care and attention I show mine. I understand traveling in itself adds extra stressors to people’s lives, and I work hard to ensure safety and wellbeing of their pet isn’t among them.
Information Tina D. would like to know about your pet
I schedule a 'meet and greet' prior to each booking, which allows me to stop by your home to visually and verbally receive cat care instructions. This meeting is an excellent opportunity to ask each other additional questions and establish mutual trust. Beyond the care routine, I appreciate insight on your cat(s)' temperament, best ways to engage with them and any medical needs/health concerns.
A typical day
My standard-care routine includes scooping litter boxes, refreshing water bowls and ensuring clean eating surfaces on a daily basis, as well as following your cat’s food, snack and any medical instructions to a tee. Once I’ve double-checked your cat’s daily basic needs and instructions are met, the rest of the visit is dedicated to giving your cat my undivided attention and engagement (unless the cat indicates he or she wants to be left alone) — whether it’s running around with their favorite toy, doting on them with cuddles and affection, or calmly sitting on the ground within view of their favorite hiding spot to let them observe me without encroaching on their space. While my approach to how time is spent with each cat varies across bookings, my respect for their space and boundaries never wavers. Sometimes the best way to earn a skittish cat's trust is to simply leave them be.

Availability
My flexible schedule accommodates 30-min and 60-min drop-ins from 8am - 8pm, 7-days a week. I can come by twice a day for cats who need am/pm meals and care. If you’re someone with multiple cats, I’ll highlight that I’m one of very few sitters who have waived the ‘additional cat’ Rover fee. Please note that this cost exclusion is limited to three cats per household and that I’d recommend 60-minutes for three cats.
