Home Full-time, Large Fenced Yard!
Pet care experience
I love dogs, I've been a dog owner of at least two dogs at a time since I've been an adult... I'm now in my 50's.. yikes.. haha. My husband and I have a young golden retriever that absolutely loves having new friends to come over to play with in our large fenced yard. I'm the mom of four, but I am an empty nester now, so my nurturing has migrated to caring for our animals as I am home all day! We have a large sprawling one story home set on 1.5 acres, this includes a huge fenced backyard that the dogs just love! We have used Rover.com as a clients already, and I realized the need for this in our local area for people going on vacations, or in need of doggy day care. We have kenneled our own dogs when necessary, and hated doing that. We have so loved using Rover for our own dogs as they can experience a home environment with lots of play time and one on one attention. Also, an update with photos daily! As a family, we once bred small breed dogs, so are pretty well known within our community as dog lovers. Also, I volunteered and served on the board for over a year at our local humane society. During that time , we brought in many fosters and have always enjoyed doing so!

Our furry visitors are treated as our own. They have full range to most of the rooms in the house. We allow our guests to lounge on the furniture (as long as it's allowed at home!) We have gated areas to separate if need be for feeding. We have a large fenced yard for fun and exercise outside. Dogs always have both a fun and leisurely vacation of their own when visiting!

If you have a large dog that can and will jump a split rail fence ( two rails high with chicken wire), we may not be the best fit. We have a very large yard for dogs to play, but it may be an issue if you have a notorious escape artist that can jump.
A typical day
We have a beautiful setting just outside of town with a large fenced yard. Weather permitting our furry guests love spending time running, playing and exercising as much as possible.

I am home full time, I've always been a stay at home mom and day care provider. Now I'm a stay at home pet care provider. Unless running an errand or out for an event, I'm home full time to care for our furry friends.
