I travel too much for anything other a cat. I grew up with dogs (red retriever and a yellow lab along with a few other large dogs in my youth). I have found I miss being around more animals. I have spent some time volunteering with Humane Societies or private rescues it may not be the same as having your own but it still gives me time around amazing animals. I would love some pets to hang out with and take on some of my hikes or just to play around and enjoy the company. I love the outdoors and in an ideal world I would have a dog or two to keep my company during my outdoor adventures. I only get to borrow my friend's dog's now.
