Mid-day in Happy Valley
Pet care experience
Quick Update, Friends! I'm looking to fill a couple mid-day hour slots in Happy Valley, Lafayette. If you've two pups who need some noon-time love and a daily (1.5+ mile) walk at a good clip, please connect with me. Bonus points if you happen to be off Happy Valley Road between the elementary school and downtown. :-) About Me_ Hello Humans! I'm taking a 6-month sabbatical away from my work with early stage startups to spend time with a more genteel and noble creature... yes, Dogs. I have my favorites, to be sure, but the list is long and I seem add to it with each encounter. Dear sweet creatures. My dog Brauno was pure bread Malamute with insane coloring, eyes like David Bowie and crafty spirit. My dogs Penny and Howl (small Chihuahua-mutts) live with my girls mother. I babysit them often... because I love them. "Doug" from the movie "UP" would have to be my favorite canine archetype... "I hid under your porch because I love you." I have met many Doug's in many forms. :: SIGH :: My sedentary and tedious consulting with youthful would-be masters of the universe has resulted in some unwanted pounds. Perhaps your pooch and I could spend some quality cardio time together. My NEW availability for walking and special visits will center on the middle of the day. Thanks!
Reviews
Timothy has been a dog walker and sitter for our dogs Penny and Howl many times, and we have been extremely happy with him. He keeps us updated with pictures and texts, and the dogs are always excited to see him. He is able to handle walking both of them and keep them out of trouble (they typically freak out when they see other dogs). I will definitely have him dog walk and dog sit again in the future.
Timothy is an excellent dog walker and pet sitter. He is calm, understands what dogs need and is very responsive to them and to their owners.

Information Timothy W. would like to know about your pet
Where do they like to roam? Do they have a favorite toy the bring along? Does anything really spook them? How social are they? Are there things they need help with - e.g. walking in-step, sitting at corners, etc? Are there things they love to demonstrate? Can I give them treats for "acrobatics" and/or "time-served"? What would those tasty neeblies be?
A typical day
Hmmmmm... well, in a half hour, I'm not sure how many hi-jinx we can actually clock. I think some jaunty neighborhood adventures would be appropriate. For Day Care, with a whole day together, we would go on a couple great walks together and practice things we both need to work on - e.g. not pulling (unless strapped to a sled), chillin' in the face of squirrels toxic taunting, and/or composed disdain for random cat interactions. For Drop-Ins, I would sniff out the special ball or rope so that we could revel in glorious repetition - drop, see!, through, retrieve and maybe spend quiet time just sitting together. Really depends on the Pooch, time allotted, environment and guidance from their Human.
