Availability
I walk my dog every day. I understand some dogs need more than one walk per day, depending on their energy level. I also make sure my dog gets outside several times a day to enjoy the fresh air and relieve them. I will do the same for yours, based on your preferences. At this time, I work from home, so my availability for drop-ins or walks is very flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
I am calm, gentle, and patient and aim to create an environment where the dogs I care for can feel and act the same. When walking, I like to keep dogs on a 6-foot leash (not a retractable leash) and keep the dog walking forward as opposed to stopping every few seconds. I consider myself the leader (not the dog) and intend to set a vibe where the dog understands they have a job to do -- walk!
Information Tim F. would like to know about your pet
What is the dog's temperament? How is the dog when interacting with other dogs and with people (especially children) -- any specific quirks, behavioral patterns that I should know of? How well-trained is the dog? Does s/he respond well to voice and sight signals/commands? Does s/he have a favorite treat and/or toy? e.g., my guy LOVES sticks.
A typical day
If the pup is up for it, we can hike, go to the beach, or take an urban walk. We can play fetch, tug, or I can just let them hang out and sniff stuff.

Trustworthy caretaker and companion
Pet care experience
As a caretaker of your pets, plants, and home, I'm here to help you feel at ease while you're away. I’ve lived with all sorts of animals since childhood. I grew up on a farm, and we had 3-6 dogs at any given time. When I went to college, I adopted the first dog I would raise on my own -- he lived almost 15 happy years. I rescued another pup in my mid-thirties — he’s going on 7, and we’re best buds. So, I have experience taking care of puppies, seniors, and every age in between. My dogs and I have participated in puppy schools and worked 1:1 with excellent dog trainers -- in each case, I learned as much as my dog. I believe dogs just want to give love and get love back. This emotional reciprocation, along with adequate exercise and a healthy diet, makes for a happy, healthy dog. I believe every dog is good by nature, and, as humans, we have a responsibility to provide dogs with a nurturing environment in which they can be their good-natured, happy selves. I love connecting with a new dog, understanding its world and experience. With empathy from this connection, I find it easier to care for a dog and provide the type of love any particular dog needs and wants -- through daily routines, fun-hearted play, and plenty of attention. Ultimately, this leads to a more enjoyable relationship between human and canine. While I’m primarily a dog person, I grew up with lots of cats on the farm and have lived with and cared for cats here and there as an adult. I feel comfortable with cats and understand their needs. I understand the trust required to let someone else take care of your pet. My promise is to always be building and reinforcing my trustworthiness as a caregiver to animals and plants.
Reviews
Tim has taken care of our dog Toskey (65lb lab mix) on several occasions. Whenever we pick Toskey up, you can tell she has had a great time and has been well cared for. Tim has a genuine understanding of canines and a passion for their care. Some people/places provide safety for your dog and you accept the service at that. Tim goes above and beyond in the way he treats all dogs as if they were his own. I would not hesitate for a second to to put the well being of our love in Tim's hands.
Tim is a calm and gentle soul, evident as soon as you meet him, and has a special empathy with dogs. Tim Falls is my dogs best friend. Over the last 2 years he has helped watch, walk, babysat, gave meds to and even stayed at my place to watch my boxer "Ryder"...we both miss him dearly. I cannot think of a better, more trustworthy care giver to your four legged family members.
