Dog-walking: I have personally owned and cared for at least one dog at a time over the last 15 years. I firmly believe that consistent dog-walking is the most important factor for our pets to live long, healthy and happy lives. Currently, we have a three year old Cavapoo named Stevie, and we take her on at least two 1.5 mile walks every single day; I also like to run "sprints" with her on the walks to get her heart pumping. Without any formal training or help, I trained our dog Stevie to be "off leash" and she stays by my side no matter what. I have always had a fascination with dogs and a gentle, patient way of working with them so they feel comfortable with me, and most importantly loved.
