We are a family of three humans and plenty of dogs. We have been rescuing and fostering lost dogs for over 10 years. We are compassionate about helping to train and find them a forever home. We currently have an older home on the edge of Independence with a fenced in 3+ acre yard and tons of squirrels to chase. We are located within 15 minutes of Arrowhead and Kauffman stadiums. We are available from 6:30 AM until 9 PM and most weekends. As long as your dogs* are friendly they are welcome to come, run, and play with our fun-loving pack! We'll send them home with a toe nail trim (if they don't mind) and a complimentary bath! *Unfortunately, the city of Independence has placed restrictions upon pit bulls terriers (and related breeds) and will not allow us to sit for them at this time. We also must ask that all male dogs be neutered. Please bring food for your pets (avoids any allergies or upset tummies) and if they have a special bed or favorite toy/snack, you're welcome to include these as well. Military/Long Term Boarding: We are uniquely set up to allow for a variety of long term boarding situations and, especially, it would be our honor to assist any military members with loving pet care during deployment (includes a discounted rate). Spring/Summer Note: We do have lots of wildlife that run through our yard. In the spring and summer months we ask that you make sure your dog has up to date flea/tick medication. All of our pets are regularly treated and we watch for these very carefully, but a little extra protection certainly doesn't hurt! Also, since we offer free baths, please don't apply it just before your visit. If necessary, please bring it with you and we will put it on them after they have been bathed.
