Pet care experience
Professional Experience: I am currently an Animal Caretaker at the USDA in Ames. I also have experience working at pet boarding facilities and wildlife care clinics where I worked mostly with cats, dogs, horses, and birds. Total, I have over 10 years of professional animal care and handling experience, and take particular interest in animal enrichment, behavior and training. Personal Experience: I grew up with dogs of varying sizes and breeds from a Pomeranian to a Bull Mastiff. I have cared for a variety of animals for my friends and family, and I have 3 cats and 3 dogs of my own.

Please let me know the following: - If your animal is sociable with other animals and people - Any current medical issues or medications and, any applicable instructions - Feeding instructions - please bring own food - Any additional special needs your dog requires ie: diapers, disabilities, etc - Vaccination status if boarding or daycare. Vaccines AND flea/tick prevention must be up to date for boarding or daycare stays.
A typical day
I have a fenced in backyard that is great for playtime! I have a long tie out that gives peace of mind by keeping dogs that need leashed a wide range to play. Treats offered at client discretion.

Availability
Evenings are when I am mostly available, however I am flexible for morning and midday check ins as well. I have every other Friday-Monday off which is when I am available for daycare in my home. Through the rest of the week I am available for drop in visits, walking, and boarding - as marked on my availability calendar.
