Hi there! My name is Tiffany and I look forward to providing compassionate and dependable care for your pet. Growing up, dogs were a part of my life from the day I was born until the day I moved away from home. On top of providing lots of playtime and affection to my furry family members, I was also responsible for feeding, watering, bathing, and walking them. More recently, I have spent the past six years as a proud ferret parent, raising two from kits and adopting two as rescues. I have offered pet care for friends whenever needed, including walks, playtime, and pet-sitting in their homes. I look forward to spending quality time with your pet and caring for them as if they were my own.

Tiffany was a fantastic dog walker for our two small dogs! She showed up on time and was reliable and dependable throughout the two weeks that she worked for us. I would absolutely hire her again if we need a dog walker and would recommend her without hesitation.
Tiffany is my favorite person to watch my pets! My pets have needed both care while I went on vacation but also emergency care which Tiffany was so kind to do. Tiffany followed every direction I gave and really cared for my animals. She sent me photos and updates and was great with communication. She was great with availability and never made me nervous while I was away from my pets. I definitely recommend her to take care of your animals!
Tiffany has been wonderful with my two dogs over the last 8 years. Both my dogs have very different personalities, one is confident and stubborn and the other anxious and submissive. Tiffany knows the exact needs of both dogs and just how to handle them. She has taken them on walks and done overnight sitting. I fully trust her with my pups!

When providing care from your home, I will gather detailed information from you about safety and supervision needs, your pet's preferences and routine, areas of the home your pet is allowed or not allowed, and any environmental factors to be aware of. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priority! I have experience caring for dogs and cats as well as several kinds of exotic pets, including ferrets, rats, birds, and fish. Feel free to reach out if you have pets other than dogs and cats, and we can discuss how I might be able to meet their needs.

Please let me know if your dog has any behaviors or special needs for me to be aware of. What are your dog's health needs? What is their comfort level with touch and personal space? Is there anything that might cause your dog's behavior or general demeanor to change? Things that might make them scared, nervous, or excitable? (Eg: cars, people, other dogs, cats, squirrels, noises, etc.) What are the best ways to put your dog at ease if they become distressed? What are some commands your dog is familiar with? Does your dog pull on the leash? When leashed, do they ever jump, charge, or lunge? What are some of their favorite activities and places to walk? Likes and dislikes? Are there specific behaviors you would like me to encourage or discourage? The more I know about your dog's personality and behaviors, the better I will be able to meet their individual needs.
A typical day
While exploring the neighborhood with your dog, I'll give them the opportunity to check out the sights and see what new smells may have popped up since they last investigated. I'm happy to consider local parks and trails as well depending on my ability to transport your pup in my vehicle and/or my ability to walk there from your home. I will keep your dog entertained with games like fetch and tug of war, and of course lots of pets, cuddles, and scritches! (Depending on each pet's comfort level)

Availability
I am currently available for drop-ins and dog walking most afternoons and evenings on weekdays. Sundays I am typically available all day. I have limited availability on Saturdays but I am free in the early morning around 6:00 AM and again in the evening 7:00 PM or later. If you are outside of my service area or if your dog weighs more than 40 lbs, please feel free to reach out anyway and we can discuss whether I might be able to accommodate your needs at an increased rate.
