I have assisted for 2 veterinarians in the past and have fostered dogs for 3 years as well for the local humane society. With this I have acquired experience in giving medications and watching special needs pets. Fostering has also given me the opportunity to have different breeds and personalities of dogs in my own home and given me the opportunity to learn how to make each individual animal feel comfortable there. I live on 3 acres, with a fenced yard, so dogs have plenty of room. I personally have 3 cats and a parrot, as well as chickens, but I love all animals alike! I work part time in evenings and am home for most of the day, so pets will have one-on-one time for all but a short duration in the evenings. I always have help nearby if I need someone to be at my home while I am working. My favorite thing to do is to take dogs to the park nearby for a long walk first thing in the morning!
