I genuinely love dogs, given I've had dogs since I was 19 years old. From 2005, I've owned and cared for dogs from Pitbulls, Yorkies and Pomeranians. I see pets as my friends and loved ones. They're just like us humans, so I think of them as children. Communication, respect, discipline, consistency and creativity are my forms of keeping in alignment with pets or dogs in general. Understanding that animals have a mind, heart and soul of their own and being mindful of their character and behavior is key and vital. As a matter of fact, we can learn something from animals if we really just focus with genuine patience. Besides they keep you on your feet just like kids do, you'll never be bored!
