Pet care experience
Our goal is to provide a better boarding experience for your dog! We are a work from home & private (1 dog at a time) Rover home. When you visit for a meet & greet, you'll see that the safety and comfort of our furry friends is a priority: The toy bin is full, the lawn is maintained and the home is clean, well kept and doesn't smell like a pet store! We live on a safe & dog friendly block in St Paul. Our home is smoke free/drug free, no kids, no cats, fully fenced yard, 24/7 air conditioning, low set windows throughout the house and a dog door - for dogs to go in/out when they want. We have a 5 year old, female retriever that will support your dog as they get used to the house and show them how to use the dog door. We want your dog will feel like they live here too!

Thomas took fabulous care of my dog over a long holiday weekend. He went above and beyond in so many ways. He truly was a ten star service. I received pictures and updates each day and even some fun extras at pickup. My dog came home relaxed and in good spirits. I will definitely hire again.
Thomas took wonderful care of Jax! This is by far the best Rover experience we’ve had. Jax is missing his buddy Stella and is already looking forward to the next time they can hang out.
Many thanks to Tom for providing a safe, calm and happy home away from home for my two year old miniature poodle while I was gone for 12 days. It was my first time away from him and while I missed my little fellow of course, I did not worry about him. Tom’s many messages and photos just confirmed the confidence I had in his care. My pup got lots of great walks and lots of cuddles and a new friend in Tom’s lovely dog, Stella. A really wonderful experience for us. Will not hesitate to book with Tom again.

If your dog prefers a kennel, there are 2 in the home. They're kept open for dogs to go in/out as they choose and not used for confinement. For bed time, your dog will be welcome on our bed if they want - but we also have 2 very large and comfy raised dog beds which adjoin our human bed. The home's safety devices are all wifi connected with monitored smoke/CO alarms, heat/ac, indoor/outdoor cameras. Your dog will also receive a gps tag while here, just in case! The house is tranquil and relaxing with no commotion. It's perfect for dogs that prefer 1 on 1 attention over boarders that accept multiple dogs at once!

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, health needs, behavior concerns, potty training/incontinence concerns or other training opportunities you're working on. We do not provide specialty care for aggresive dogs , unusually high energy dogs or those still learning basic behavior and socialization skills. Overlapping of reservations is possible on drop off and pick up days. Please inform me of any relevant behavior concerns around other dogs.
A typical day
A typical day includes a couple walks around the neighborhood or park. Sometimes we'll continue on the nearby trails. If your dog likes long walks, the trails go on for miles and are ideal! I have a regular job and currently work from home. During this time your dog can nap, play outside or hang out with me in the office for treats, scratches & Zoom meetings:) After walks and play we like to unwind by lounging around outside or on the couch together for a movie - a great time to chew on a bone or antler!

Stella (our dog) gets along great with other dogs. She enjoys playing if your dog desires that - she's not aggressive or possessive. Her play style is silly and light and she enjoys being lazy too.
