I thoroughly enjoy being around dogs, and dogs seem to enjoy being around me. I'm a very active person and I enjoy going out on runs or walks with dogs or going to the park to play. While I'm good in this manner with active dogs, I have also been known to have a very calm demeanor which helps more anxious or nervous dogs relax as well. These two traits let me work well with any sort of dog, ranging from personality to size and breed. In regards to experience, I have had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a pair of sister Australian shepherds named Georgia and Nala and currently I have a rescue black lab Rhodesian ridgeback mix named Moose. I learned how to take care of elderly dogs from Georgia and Nala and more recently learned how to do more proper training with Moose such as potty training and basic commands. I'm back home in San Diego during my summer break from school at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Aside from two weeks where I will be away at field training for Air Force ROTC (July 21-August 4), I will be free to walk or take care of dogs any time during the week.
