Looking for a furry friend
Pet care experience
I am currently a college student at Hobart and William and Smith Colleges and am consistently looking forward to spending time with four legged friends. I have always loved and valued being the person that my friends turned to when their dogs needed a home to stay in while they’re are out of town. During my summers I work at a dog grooming salon, and during the school year I have helped take care of two King Charles Cavalier Spaniels weekly, and other dogs that need a sitter for a night or more. As a lifelong athlete I love having a running partner, especially a four legged one, (even when they have to stop to pee!), but am just as happy taking a leisurely stroll and enjoying the outdoors! I look forward to meeting you and your four legged friends!

Thomas was great! He watched our two dogs several times during the week we visited Geneva. He was flexible with our changing schedule, always on time, and quick to respond to any questions I had. He sent updates on the dogs frequently and truly gave us peace of mind to enjoy our trip. I highly recommend him!!

Thomas watched our three dogs and did an excellent job! He was reliable and arrived on time. He followed our instructions exactly as we asked which were different for each dog. He played with and interacted with the dogs so they were not sad or lonely while we were away. I would use Thomas again and I feel confident recommending him to others!

I'd like to know the energy level of the dog I will be spending time with, if they enjoy being active than I will make sure to give them a little exercise but if they are more mellow than I want to make sure I don't over exerting them either. I would also like to know what the type of activities the owner typically does with the dog.
A typical day
There are lots of walking paths and parks around me, and being an outdoorsy person I am always looking for excuses to spend more time outside. If the dog is high energy I often enjoy going on runs with them, but even for dogs who prefer to move slower I simply enjoy being outside with them. Each dog has different preferences and energy levels but I have a plethora of options for all types of dogs ranging from belly rubs at home to playing fetch at a dog park.
