I’ve known Thomas 10+ years. He was my neighbor and work colleague, and is now a good friend. When I met him he had an elderly black lab (Maggie) who he took such good care of. He made every accommodation for her to be sure she was always as comfortable as possible. I remember him bringing her in a camping trip, not long before she passed. He stood smiling at her while she soaked her arthritic legs in a cool stream. You could see how much they loved one another. Later, Thomas adopted Annie. She was an abused dog and he spent years gaining her trust and proving to her that she was safe with him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone be as patient with animals as Thomas is. He treats animals with respect and dignity and really tries to understand their perspectives and needs. I trust him absolutely and completely with my own animals (including a skittish rescue dog). He is kind, responsible, and loving. I strongly recommend him as a dog sitter, without reservation. You’d be lucky to get Thomas as your dog sitter.
