Hi, I'm Tom. I have a friendly 3.5yr old white Lab mix, Lily. I love dogs and would love to take care of yours too! Also, Lily loves making new friends so she'd be very pleased with a new buddy. If you live in Pontyclun or near the Tyla Garw area you've probably seen me out and about with her. I am a firefighter and work shifts, meaning I am home most of the time during days so your dog would basically never be left alone. We go on nice, varied walks and adventures, usually about two hours every day but often even longer. Dog boarding or daycare: I would make your dog totally at home. I have a fenced, secure garden and lots of nice open space nearby to walk on. I have experience of training dogs and administering medication if needed. Dog walking: I can pick up and drop off your dog from your home and take them on a nice woodland or field adventure, or a more sedate walk if that's better for your dog, alone or with my dog. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages.

Tom looks after our dog (rusty) regularly and is great with her. Rusty is always well looked after and she is well walked when she stays. When we pick her up she is always happy. Tom is great at keeping us updated when we are away. I would highly recommend

Just let me know if your dog has any special requirements or issues I should be aware of. I have experience dealing with large dogs as well as young, old and shy dogs so nothing will be a problem.
A typical day
Typically, after breakfast I head out on my dog walk at about 10-11am. My most common route takes about 1.5-2 hours and takes in woodland and open fields. Sometimes I head up to Smaelog forestry for a nice walk too, or even head to the beach. After the walk I'm on hand to play with and entertain my dog for the rest of the day, until dinner time.

Availability
I work a shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights then four days off. This means that I can offer boarding, day care or walking for any or all of my 4 rest days (these change by one day each week) and boarding for my day shifts, as long as your dog is ok to stay with Lily and have a dog walker for those days. If your booking request lands when I'm on a day shift I will discuss it with you before confirming anything. I can also offer day care when I'm on my night shifts. If I am boarding your dog I'd always be around during the evening I have a nice big sofa for your dog to cuddle up on if they want. I can crate your dog if needed. You can drop off or pick up your dog any time of day, and if you're local I can even drop them back over to you.
