Pet care experience
I have worked at an animal shelter back in my hometown during all four of my high school years. I also have a dog, cat and pet turtleback in my hometown that I have raised and cared for since babies so I am very familiar with being around them and how to make sure that they are Happy In my home, it is very spacious which allows your pets to be free here with plenty of room. I live in near campus which, as many know, is great for pets! My apartment is very spacious and very clean so rest assured knowing that your pet will be in a happy & healthy environment. I am open home tours and meet & greets per your request. I will also guarantee daily photos of the activities that me and your pet will engage in daily. So, all in all, my top priority is to provide a safe and happy environment for your furry friend while ensuring your complete satisfaction! 😊

This was my first time using Rover so I had a billion questions and Therrin was very patient and flexible from beginning to end. We had a meet and greet and my pups were very excited to meet him which is the approval I needed it. I didn't use Therrin for my pups this time, but he did daily check-ins on my cats while I was gone and he was very consistent with sending me pics. My cats are shy with new people, but I had shown Therrin their hiding spots during the meet and greet and he made sure he found them to send me the pics. He also scooped the litter and requested and he even brought in some packages for me that had arrived while I was gone. I will definitely be hiring him again!
Therrin did amazing with my two pups!! I could tell in the daily photos that he sent me how much fun they were having and how relaxed they were being with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pet sitter!!
Therrin was great with Leroy. Came by a day before to meet him and then day of took excellent care. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone else needing a sitter.
I have been using Rover for the last several years. All have been very satisfactory. Until now. We arrived home on the evening of November 8 after being away for one week. We hired Therrin to move in here and to take care of our two little dogs. We met with him 2 times prior to our trip to get to know him and give him the feeding and care instructions. Upon our arrival home I immediately saw there was water damage to our first floor which is an engineered flooring that was installed only 2years ago. There are bubbles at several joints. This flooring has specific cleaning methods. Mopping with water is not one of them. In addition there was what looked to be about a weeks worth of dried and wet pee at both corners of our refrigerator. Also there was 2 pee spots on our new upstairs carpeting. Keep in mind our dogs rarely go in the house. He must have used some kind of cleaning solution on our first floor because it left a film that I am still trying to get out.yesterday I cleaned up the back yard, racked leaves, grinder them up. I was prepared to clean up a weeks worth of dog poop. My dogs poop maybe three times a day. So I expected a lot. There was no poop to clean up which tells me they went in the house all week. Now I have to deal with the poop and pee scent being in the house . I can’t smell it but the dogs can. I know my dogs and they were not happy when we got home, but stressed probably from going in the house which they know not to do that and from being alone. The only conclusion I can come to is that he must have left them alone for long periods of time. Please advise who I can talk to at Rover about covering the cost of floor damages. I am in the process of getting an estimate. This is nothing personal against Therrin who I think is a fine young man, however he did not do a good job for us. Thank you Jim Smith
