I've been called the Animal Whisperer but I just refer to it as My Love for Animals. Since childhood, I have always had pets. My last dog companion, Blake, of 15 years has crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. In my search for adopting another I was asked to "foster for two weeks" a Mastif who was very emaciated. That began my journey of volunteering for rescue groups. I am currently on my 73rd foster - which includes dogs, cats, rabbit & a guinea pig. Thanks to social media, I am able to check in and hear all the happy stories, which gives me the drive to continue. So my REFERENCE LIST is long. I want you to be 100% comfortable before entrusting your four-legged best friend with a stranger, although, a stranger for long - I would not be. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs my entire life. Walking in the door and being greeted with such love and enthusiasm is priceless. Always having a walking partner is beneficial for all. Meet my pets I have two cats of my own, a foster and recently became a new mommie to my best friend, Lisa R.'s, cat. She passed away unexpectedly, I couldn't bare knowing her "Fatcat" would be sent to pound. I also have a fishtank with one fish left. About my yard I have a fairly large backyard, however it is not fenced. It has full grown azalea bushes and my neighbors fence backing behind the bushes. Other than that, it is all open terrain for running/playing and 'private time'. I do have a lead for any 'private' times your baby may need. I have known some furbabies do not like an audience when doing their business. My experience administering medication I have administered medicine via pill, liquid, drops and needles. I am comfortable with all.
