Most importantly... if the dog is under any medication, the frequency etc. Name of vet and any medical instructions. Any habits that might help me understand the dog better and be prepared for. Any dislikes or favorite thing to do. Frequency of needing to go out for nature breaks ( even though I go out a lot with it) . If owner supplies any treats, how often and how many. I do not have any specific breed preference. I have cared for Maltese dogs ( Kibbles and Kaleb) to English springer spaniels ( Molly and Toby who themselves always believed they were tiny dogs and would jump on my lap at any chance) I enjoyed them all and hoping to enjoy your four legged friend soon too..

When a dog stays in my home I take it out very frequently and go on quite long walks especially if the dog enjoys it as well. Normally I go for a long walk in the morning , lunchtime and evening, with other short walks and outings in between. My neighborhood is very walkable and I am very close to Valley Forge Woods where I walk very frequently. I always had great satisfaction in providing a fun home to any dog that stayed at my “ camp” as the owners referred to it.. Once a dog is in my home, just like a child, I make it my priority to give it full attention, excercise and love.. Dogs of all sizes love being petted, playing and sitting next to a person , so I tend to go on the floor and stroke or play with the dog. Most dogs have their favorite toys so it is important we play with those toys to have a feeling of being “ at home”.
