Pet care experience
I joined a volunteer rescue group called German shepherd rescue of New Jersey where I was the president for a bit. I devoted alot of my time to find the dogs we take into our program forever homes. With the rescue I interacted and helped train German shepherd dogs that were surrendered or taken in from shelters. Most of these dogs have behavioral problems so i also have experience with managing certain behaviors. I have experience with puppies and larger breed dogs. At this time my boyfriend and I have a pitbull mix named Coco and are fostering a pitbull named Red. I feel as if I have the skills to take care of your dog in your home, or in my own home whether it's to just watch the dog overnight, during the day, or to let him out for a walk in the afternoon.

I have two large-breed dogs (approximately 90 and 60 pounds) who each have their own personality quirks. My one dog, Lily, is very shy around new people and can get scared easily, but went right up to Theresa without hesitation the first time they met. I always appreciate that Theresa sends me pictures and updates while I'm away to reassure me the pups are doing well. She even made them frozen treats last time we went away and it was especially hot outside. Theresa has watched my dogs more than once now, and I am comfortable leaving them in her care! I will certainly continue using Theresa for any dog-sitting needs I have!
Theresa is a great dog mom and would be a perfect dog sitter for those who need it. Theresa is very passionate about working with dogs and actively volunteers for a German Shepard Rescue in which she helps find numerous dogs homes. She goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of pups, she gives lots of love, affection, and is always bringing special treats or toys for the dogs. I know that your pup will love working with Theresa just as much as she loves working with dogs. Hire her, you won't be disappointed!
I don't think there is anyone that loves dogs more than Theresa... when she comes over to visit me she spends all her time playing with my dog, I'm convinced that's who she's really visiting! I would trust her to watch my dog in a second and I'm one of those crazy dog people that wants a background check and blood sample before I let anyone watch him! She's also a rescue volunteer so she has experience with dogs of all temperaments. Definitely recommend her!!

My current dog and foster dog are walked multiple times a day. During the week we typically take a longer walk once out of work. Weekends we take the dogs on different adventures, whether it be hiking, swimming etc. Dog friendly dogs would be included in the fun. If your dog is not dog friendly they would have their own room and be separated. We would still bring them out for walks and bathroom breaks and spend time with them/ possibly sleep in the room with them as it is our spare bedroom. The experience is obviously not as ideal for a dog not dog friendly but if someone is in a pinch, we can provide a safe space.
