Calling all Chihuahuas, Yorkies, Maltese, Toy Poodles, Shih Tzus and other pint-sized pooches! I specialize in caring for small breed dogs and puppies (max 20 lbs). I am a registered nurse and a former professional dog trainer who specialized in training toy breed dogs. I work full time from home and enjoy welcoming a few dogs (maximum of 4 boarders) into my home for full-service care. I have worked with dogs for 20+ years, including some time as a vet technician. I am very comfortable managing special needs, giving medication, bathing, clipping nails, etc.

i can not even begin to express how wonderful Theresa is. I love to go places, but I always hated leaving my dog (or dogs when I had more than one). Theresa IMMEDIATELY made me feel at ease, as well as my dog. I actually had to google to find a word that could convey how great she was, and I found "cynophile" which is a dog lover, but she is more than that. She not only understands what the dog needs, but also what us pet parents need. She eased my worries, she sent me pictures, she assured me that what I was feeling was normal. I know that I not only had a good time, but my dog enjoyed her vacation as well. You will definitely will make it so much easier to say yes when I am asked if I can get away Thank you Theresa!
Teresa was awesome with Royale, he seem so happy and playful. And he made friends which he usually stays away from other dogs.I was able to relax as Teresa kept me updated with pictures and messages of my baby. I randomly chose her on Rover and I m so happy with my choice...
Theresa was fabulous with our 2 boys Panda and Bruno. This was our first experience with Theresa and she was friendly and well prepared for our dogs. We had a meet and greet day and the boys were excited to run in her spacious secure yard. We were able to relax and enjoy our 5 day vacation knowing they were treated with love and genuine care. She is definitely our person and we will be calling on her in the future. Trustworthy, organized, attentive and friendly!
If I could give 100 stars ⭐️⭐️ i would‼️ she is literally the sweetest! From the second I pulled up to drop my baby off she made me feel very comfortable! My sweet boy had the time of his life with her! Will be recommending her to EVERYONE! & I will definitely be rebooking for sure!!!

You can relax knowing that your dog is in great hands and enjoying their own doggie vacation. I only accept dog-friendly small dogs under 20 pounds, so your little one will have size-appropriate buddies to play with! For everyone's safety, you are welcome to do an in-person meet and greet at a time when I don't have other client dogs in residence, or we can do a video meet and greet anytime! I manage drop offs and pickups with safety in mind, and I'm very happy to offer pick up and delivery to make your boarding experience as convenient as possible!

A typical day
My home is a great fit for dog-friendly small breed dogs looking for a relaxing vacation. A typical day consists of playing, snuggling on the couch, and enjoying nice weather in my securely fenced garden. I have lots of toys, beds and an abundant supply of bully sticks for dogs that enjoy a good chew. My goal is to attract cultivate a community of friendly, happy little dogs and their people!

Availability
I work from home and have lots of extra room on my couch for your little one! Your dog is most welcome to join us for couch time, walkies, and supervised outdoor time in my large securely fenced garden. I am home most of the time, but I do go out to do normal things (the gym, errands, occasional social engagements). Please let me know if your dog is not crate trained. I do separate the dogs for safety when I Ieave the house, but can use gates or an ex-pen instead of a crate if that works better for your little one. I may be able to accommodate a dog that cannot be left home alone, depending on the specifics, please ask if this is the case.
