Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole live- with a few from the shelter. My current dog lives with my parents in KC while I'm in school, but she has had some trouble in the past. We worked hard and finally house trained her, while working to make her comfortable after coming from an abusive household. I have patience to work with animals and love to meet new ones! I'm willing to work with you and your animal's needs to help facilitate a good experience! I also have several roommates who are willing to spend time with your loved ones and provide extra care. Plus, I'd love to send pictures to you of your dog during the stay!

There was an incident that happened and Lola got into all of her food and ate it all. Theresa felt awful and I could tell she genuinely felt bad but she called me right away and told me what happened. She called multiple vets in town to ask what she should do in this situation. She kept me updated every 1-2 hours on her status and never left her side he rest of he trip. Things happen and I understand but it's how Theresa handled the situation that showed me that she really cared for my dog. I would recommend her again!

I don't have any breed preferences. I would like to know how well trained a dog is to be indoor. Depending on the dog normal freedom, the whole house can be free to roam during our inside time.
A typical day
I live right off of Kansas State University's main campus, which is perfect for evening walks. I also live within walking distance of City Park. My yard is small, but good for bathroom breaks and some quick time outside. I also run, and dogs are more than welcome to join if you ask me to bring them! I also have roommates that are excited to provide extra love and playtime! I go to school and so do my roommates, but there is usually at least one of us around. I would be able to come back during the day for walks, playtime, medicine or anything else! Someone will be available to the dogs needs.
