I have walked at the Humane Society for about 1 year now, putting in time every month to become a pink level. This allows me to handle dogs at a "pink" level, because I have handled the "yellow" dogs. The dogs there range from small to giant, puppy to old, chiuahuah to pitbull. Personally, my dog (brown lab/German shepherd mix) has experience with the dog park, as well as with my brother's German shepherd and neighbor husky. My main focus is to learn to socialize and, eventually, train dogs. I have walked my dog regularly so long, with runs and all sorts of routes, that I believe others should be introduced to such a lifestyle. My dog has trained at Landheim and is taken well care-of at the dog vet.
