Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with shelter dogs nearly my whole life. I volunteered at the SPCA and ended up fostering and then adopting my current dog, a very high-energy pit mix. I have experience with medium and large high-energy dogs, puppies, and older dogs.

You guys made us feel extremely comfortable with leaving her with you. I immediately noticed how comfortable she was with your family, she usually cries or barks when I leave. I love the interaction between your family and cloud. Your dog seems very sweet as well. Hopefully we can set some socialization between the pups in the future. I also appreciated the updates throughout the boarding stay.
Tessa is a rockstar dog mom who is responsible and caring. She loves taking our dog Tilly on walks, runs, hikes, paddleboard adventures, road trips, and more. She has also had pet cats, goats, pigs, guinea pigs, and mice. Whatever your pet needs are, she would love to help!

A typical day
We are a very active family and can meet your dogs energy level, wherever they are at. We take along (or short, if preferred!) walks along the river on Riverside Ave and then play ball in our fenced in yard. If your dog likes the water, we may also play in the pool on warm days. For adventurous dogs, we may try paddle boarding or biking. For dogs that would rather relax inside, we can do that too. There will be several more walks and time to wind down after the last walk.

I am switching to part time work so will have a lot of flexibility and availability in my schedule on days that I’m not working.
