Pet care experience
Hey, I'm Tessa. At any house gathering you can find me on the floor with the family pet! My real experience with dogs began in college when I would volunteer with the local animal shelter for weekly adoption events. I've since then had extensive experience with pet/house sitting and dog walking. I’m new to San Diego, but my clients have ranged from a Great Pyrenees puppy to a 17 year old mini Aussie lady. I’ve administered meds and brushed teeth and like to think I pay great attention to detail. I have a seven year old Boston Terrier so I am very much used to stubborn, sassy, and sometimes timid fur babies. I believe patience is the most important attribute a pet care worker can have. Other than that, I love being outside and can’t wait to meet your baby! I’ll respond as quickly as I can to messages to confirm availability.

Tessa is amazing! She’s been so flexible and helpful with Carlos! She has gone above and beyond to make sure he is well taken care of and has everything he needs. Each visit she has sent the best photos and given me a great update on how he’s doing. I’m so thankful to have found her on Rover and had her help in caring for him. She’s definitely going to be my go-to sitter because I know I can trust her and the high quality of care she provides!
Tessa is calm, cool, and collected. Her personality meshes well with dogs and I know she is in control in every situation. My doggies love time with Tessa.
Tessa is amazing. She treats my pets like they are her babies too. She has watched all five of our pups before and spent time marking sure they all had individual attention and gave us updates on them. They love Tessa and get excited everytime they see her.
