Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals since I was in elementary school, had a golden retriever growing up, a yellow labrador (in the pics) for 10 years until he passed away, and now I have a dog and a cat at home. I also trained my Labrador to be a pet therapy dog. I would love to be able to take your dog on walks or stop by and care for your pets for drop-in visits. I have also given animals' medications and have taken care of animals with special needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I have cared for fish, frogs, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, and snakes. I love all animals and am both dependable and conscientious. If you have any questions, please ask! I treat every animal uniquely. I want to know any nuances about them, so I can provide the best care possible! Please share with me their daily routine.

Tess is everything you could want in a pet sitter and more. I am 100% confident in her abilities to both care for my little hellfire of a chihuahua, as well as to handle any unexpected circumstances, should they arise. Truly, she is the best!
Tess did a fabulous job! She gave my cat her medicine at the precise time, made sure she had all the food and water needed, and played each day. Tess sent the cutest pictures and left a detailed note after each visit. Highly recommend!

I'm happy to take your dog to the local park, through the neighborhood, or we can play in your yard, etc. For cats and other critters, I'm happy to play with them and will be careful entering and departing your house to prevent escapes.

I do not have any breed preference and I have pet sat for small and large dogs as well as puppies and senior dogs. I'll ask questions about your animal's quirks, what they do and don't like, and if they have any fears/aversions to things.
A typical day
I'm happy to take your energetic dog(s) on a run/walk around the neighborhood or for an older dog, we can go on slow walks or hang out at the park. When we do a meet and greet I'll ask about what your preferences are and will adhere to those.

Availability
I work full time, but am available most weekdays before 7:30 am (I'm a morning person), occasional lunch hours, and after 5 pm. My calendar shows my weekend availability as well.
