Hello! My name is Tess and your dog will love my friendly, loving home. I’ve been around and babysat for dogs all of my life and I currently have one dog, she's an eight-year-old rescue who loves attention and toys. I’ve always loved dogs and have the care and experience necessary to be a successful dog sitter. I've always had animals in my home. I got "my" first dog when I was 8-years-old. I now have a 8-year-old puppy that I rescued and she is my best friend. I feel for dogs so immensely because they are such wonderful, caring souls. They deserve someone who will treat them like they're family. Your dog will get plenty of attention and I can guarantee they’ll have a great time. I pride myself on creating a safe home environment, so you can ease your mind when you leave your fur baby with me. I love all dogs and I’ve had plenty of experience watching dogs of all sizes. I know it can be hard to find a place that’s suitable for a bigger dog, but I’m here for you! When I’m not with animals, I spend time with family, on a hike, biking, or in class. I also enjoy painting and gaming. My dogs are my number one priority and I’ll make sure yours are too.

Tess did a great job! She was very attentive to my cats needs and I had confidence that she would take great care of my girls while I was gone. Will be asking her to sit again next time I’m out of town
Tess did a magnificent job taking care of our cat for several days. She interacted with him during her visits and followed our instructions for care without any issues. Everyday we were gone we would receive texts and images from her to assure us our cat was being cared for. We will definitely hire her again.

I update with a lot of pictures so there's an ease of mind for pet parents. I also keep in great contact, I am never afraid of asking questions or getting a full understanding of the mission so things go smoothly and successfully. Worst case scenario: life happens. In any immediate case there are emergency hotlines for me to refer to and the pet parents will be notified right away! I'm a great problem solver and resolver. Always gotta keep the "what ifs" in mind to eliminate any possibility of problems that can be easily prevented.

Before we meet, I’d like to know: Is your dog teething? I have plenty of dog teething toys to help. Is your dog potty trained? I want to make sure I’m aware of their bathroom schedule. Where do they usually sleep? On the bed? Floor? Couch? How are they on a leash? I can help with learning techniques. What’s their favorite toy? If you bring it with you, I’ll make sure they get lots of playtime with it. Because we have 2 cats in our household, I need to know how your dog acts around cats.
A typical day
I love playing fetch, tug of war, hide & seek, tag, and RUN. A tired dog is a good dog and every animal needs a fun physical release as do humans so why not do one together?! I take dogs on walks daily. If it rains or we pass by a mud puddle your dog can't resist..no worries, I'll have them cleaned up by the time you get home! I enjoy a nice clean dog and so does most household furniture and floors.
