Grad student living and working in Royal Oak! I grew up with pets and I adore caring for them as I don’t have any of my own for now. I’m happy to help care for your fur-baby while you’re busy or out of town!

We had Tess watch our dogs for 4 days and we're so thankful to have had someone so patient. One of our dogs is extremely anxious and is a bit intimidating as he takes awhile to warm up. Tess became his best friend while we were gone. She sent several pictures-- which put my mind at ease. She also seemed comfortable asking questions and taking the dogs for walks. Would book Tess again!
Tess loves animals and they love her back. I have seen her interact with dogs large and small. She loves them all and will take great care of them while she is walking them. She is also and experienced hand and cleaning up dog poop. I highly recommend her for this job.

All dogs have different needs, so I’d love to know about anything you find noteworthy beforehand. I have worked with anxious and reactive dogs. If possible, in those situations I like to meet the pet beforehand to help ease stress during care.
A typical day
In addition to neighborhood walks, I’m happy to take pets on hikes and to parks, and spend quality time with them if they need some extra love.

I’m working and in classes part time for the summer. My schedule is flexible, but I do ask for a day or two of notice before scheduling.
