Pet care experience
Hello! I grew up in Charleston, SC in a home that always had at least two fur babies. My family and I have a passion for pets and feel that fur babies are one of the most precious part(s) of the family. I’m home full time with very few errands to run during the day. We currently have 2 dogs (Sam & Cy) and 1 cat (Robin). Cy is a rescued boxer that would sunbathe and nap all day if I let him. Sam is an giant love muffin that loves affection more than anything in the world. He's a follower, my constant shadow around the house. Sam was diagnosed with diabetes in September 2020. Due to his diagnosis, Sam needs attention to his blood sugar, along with a regimented feeding schedule and insulin shots. Robin is my tough kitty cat. She's been with me throughout the my career as a dog sitter and has become very used to dogs and kitties coming and going throughout the house. She is not intimidated by dogs. All of our fur babies love making new friends!

5++ stars.. Our 3 pups stayed with Terry for a few nights while we were away and I’m confident that they loved every minute of it. She keeps you updated twice a day with tons of pictures and stories of their days and nights. Our pups were so worn out from playing that they slept the entire day when we got them home! We will 100% call Terry the next time we need a sitter for our babies! 💕
Terry was an amazing host for our 2 dogs, she constantly updated us on what they did each day, how they were eating, and their behavior. I recommend her and will definitely use her services again in the future.

Terry is the best! This is our 2nd time using Terry and she is truly wonderful! Our Daisy girl warmed right up to her. Terry is true to her word...if she says she will give you 2 updates a day, she will give you 2 updates a day with pictures. We didn’t worry at all if our girl was ok. Thank you Terry!!

For dog boarding and doggy day care, I have a large, fenced yard and two friendly dogs (and 1 cat) to keep your fur baby company. If you crate your dog(s) at night, I have plenty available here, no need to pack them! They are welcome on our couch. Each dog will be given personal attention whether it's by playing fetch or lots of cuddle time. I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly dogs and two cats to keep your fur baby company. Within my backyard, I have a smaller area that’s fenced off and dedicated to smaller breeds or perhaps dogs that don’t get along with other dogs. Inside the house, at various spots, we have baby gates that are used separate any dogs that don’t get along with others and to prevent any door darting.

I do not have a dog preference because I believe it's all in how you raise them! My goal is to have your pet’s life as similar to when they’re at their own home. I would like to know your dog's temperament, likes and dislikes, quirks, daily habits, and whether or not they get along with cats and other dogs, if they're house trained and if they're spayed/neutered (not a deal breaker, just need to know), their feeding schedule (amount of time(s) they eat each day and how much they eat each time) and their sleeping arrangement (crated or not). The more I know about your dog, the better experience I can offer them!! Things to bring with your pet: food & treats (if specific). For the food, please either have them in individual meal portions or labeled with directions on how much to feed each meal. Important Update (May 2023): We have a new addition to the family! On March 23rd, we welcomed our daughter to the world. Since gestation, she has been accustomed to hearing dogs bark from time to time. Ever since coming home, she has been unbothered by barking or roughhousing that occurs inside the house. It doesn’t even wake her up from her naps (we’re so lucky)! In order give your pet the best experience while here, we are strictly enforcing the 10 dogs limit per day. Please book/reserve your spot as soon as you finish making plans. I appreciate your business and support as our family is growing and changing by one future dog lover at a time! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
A typical day
With your fur babies in our home, we hope to be able to give your pet the time, love and care that they deserve while being away from you. At our house, we keep a large toy chest filled with toys that are available for any pet to play with throughout their stay. I play fetch multiple times a day (weather permitting). When it's quiet time, I often play dog calming music so everyone can relax and nap. While at my house, your dogs will be given numerous amounts of opportunity to go outside to play and run, they will also be given some down time to nap and rest throughout the day. I would like to keep their feeding schedule the same as when they are at home. I send 2 updates per day along with pictures. The first ones will be sent around 12-1pm and the second batch will be sent between 7-8pm. It’s my way of reassuring you that your fur baby is having a good time and in good hands. Please don't feel obligated to reply, I understand that you’re going to busy out of town or at work, whatever the circumstances may be. I look forward to hearing from you!

My main priority is pet care, any of my errands or appointments are scheduled around your pet's schedule, because of this, I do ask clients to be mindful of their scheduled drop off and pick up times. I want your pets to have a safe and fun time when they're here like it's their own vacation from home. I strive to be available for every pet and offer the best experience that I can. As of July 13, 2021, Rover has enforced new rules that are more time sensitive regarding rates for boarding, because of this I would like to stay as close to schedule as possible. I understand that things occur, so I strive to be flexible for my clients. I'm available for drop off as early as 6am and pick up for as late as 9pm. The day before our booking begins, I typically contact my clients to confirm drop off times. Similarly, the day before our booking ends, I contact my clients to confirm pick up times. I’m available for meet and greets Monday-Thursday but would like to focus on taking care of your pets on weekends.
