Be sure to read all the way to the bottom. Many people have said to us that if reincarnation is real, I want to come back as your pet. We love being with animals. They are very intelligent and they can tell if a person is good. Like they say, actions speak louder than words. Animals speak with their actions. We can read their actions, movements and facial expressions. We've had all kinds of animals, rescued and rehabilitated many. We volunteer at the Environmental Science Center (a rehabilitation center) and we have vet care training/experience. Our family consists of Crisco our cockatoo, two cats, RoughyLoon & OhNo, three dogs, Phoebe, LulaBell & Jake and fish (too many fish to list all their names.. ha ha). All are rescues. We take our dogs, and any we are babysitting, for morning, noon and nightly walks. We are very healthy & active people. If you need assistance asap, 251 348 9731. RATES FOR DOGS: (all rates are negotiable depending on dog) 0 to 29 lbs - $25.00 per day Puppies are $35 per day 30 to 49 lbs - $30 to 35.00 per day 50 to 60 - $35 to 45.00 per day Prices Vary: Depending on the care required: puppies - special needs-if they need shots, if they are not able to walk, Can be cheaper if they are very easy going, etc... Rates for cats: $25 Why I love dog sitting Your baby will be treated like part of the family. I have had animals all my life. I was a vet assistant for 4 years & I've trained many dogs, cats & birds. I have rehabilitated many animals & reptiles. I have never been without a pet & I never will be. They bring so much love, joy & laughter to our lives. They truly make a house a home. I'm extremely blessed. About my yard Big back yard. We have a Pool, but it is covered from Nov. to April. The pool cover is child proof & can hold up to 250 lbs. When it is not covered, I do not leave the babies unattended. Full fenced in yard with lock gate & they can't dig out.

I don't like boarding my dog at the traditional dog boarding place or kennel. I was so happy to have found Terry and Rusty. They are very friendly and sweet, and you can tell their love for animals the instant you meet them. I dropped my pup ( I call her pup but she's almost 12 years old!) off on a Friday afternoon for a two night stay. I got constant updates and pictures of what she was doing, and I was confident that she was well taken care of and loved. When I picked my pup up, she was exhausted from playing with the other dogs during her "dog slumber party". I absolutely would recommend Terry and Rusty to anyone, and I plan on using them again!
Terry & Rusty are absolutely amazing hosts for my puppy! They made sure he had tons of fun (& lots of breaks, since he was having too much fun chasing all the pups around! He's only 3 months old!) & made him feel like home as well as like family! I'm glad they love him, and I know the feeling is mutual! I definitely recommend these hosts for your furbabies in the Mobile area!
Our furry girl sure was happy with Terry and Rusty! We needed to find a home for her for 3 weeks and we really lucked in. Terry and Rusty absolutely pampered our dog and treated her with such love and respect. They had formed such a great bond, it was a tearful goodbye. This is exactly the type of care you want your dog to have when you can't be with them. Thank you for all of your love!
Terry and Rusty were very personable and kept in touch with us. They made our dogs very happy! Having my dogs stay with them was a blessing. They kept our dogs very active and made sure they were loved. I have never doubted Terry and Rusty.. they are extremely trusting!!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks To the park & around my neighborhood. We go for a 3 mile walk every morning. Little & old dogs we walk them at their leisure. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Where ever you request. If they sleep with you, they will sleep with us. I do ask that you bring something with your scent on it like a t-shirt you sleep, etc. That is very comforting to them. Time I'll spend with your dog 24/7. We are retired. We treat them like children. We don't leave them alone.
