Besides having had pets my whole life up to 2016, I have spent time with housemates' pets caring for them as well as having house/cat sat for someone for several months. I am very conscientious and consider myself more of a pet Nanny rather than a sitter or a walker. PLEASE READ THE SECTION ABOUT DOGS that I will or will not sit.

Terri is an absolute life saver. After making other arrangements a year ago for a trip we planned this year we concluded that we needed to make other arrangements as circumstances had changed. But finding someone who would stay at our house mainly due to our older dog and was someone we felt comfortable with was a challenge. We had a few false starts where people either didn’t want an assignment that long or to do house sitting along with pet sitting or were willing but then said they had a full time job which would be a problem for our dog. But when we met Terri we felt like we had found the right person. She felt comfortable in our house and with our pets and we felt comfortable with her taking care of them while we were away. Again, she is a true life saver. She sends us pictures and videos of our pets and they are clearly well cared for. Highly recommend.
Terri was absolutely fantastic with my girls. She went above and beyond, sent so many pictures, and really put my mind at ease while I was away. She even took care of my mail! She's a gem.
Terri was very conscientious, taking care of our fur babies, and our home. We appreciate her!

Is he/she well leash trained? Does he/she respond to commands? Does he/she have any separation anxiety? If dogs, they cannot act aggressively in any way or excessive barkers. They must be well trained on a leash. I will consider SOME large breeds if they are lower energy and have a yard. I will not walk large dogs who pull.
A typical day
Whether playing with and loving on them, or taking them out for active walks, I am fit and love being active with dogs and cats. I am very conscientious about interacting with them the way they are accustomed to or to providing more activity than you are able to yourself. Brushing is also something I typically provide. I also take a ton of photos and video to capture cute moments and to give you peace of mind.

Availability
I work from home at times so if the distance is not too great, I can usually manage regular pop-ins, walks, playtime or just company for your pets. I will consider some overnights.
