I would not hire Terra again. Our dogs were neglected during the week she stayed with them. We have two young energetic dogs. We had agreed that she would give them two 1.5 hour walks per day, and also that she would be around the house much of the time. Instead, she was hardly ever here, and the dogs got maybe one short walk per day. They were very stressed by being alone so much and under-exercised, and developed a new stress-response behavior of chewing things up, which they did not do before. We returned to two chewed up couch pillows. Now whenever someone new comes over to visit, they fear being left with them and chew something up (dog beds, shoes). Thanks a bunch, Terra, NOT. Why two stars not one? Well, the house was not damaged, possibly because she was so rarely here. She did communicate with us, but only to ask if she could have a friend over, and to let us know she was leaving 3+ hours early (huh?) She would respond if we asked how the dogs were doing. Just to top it all off, she is very expensive, charging double for two dogs instead of the usual discounted rate for the second dog. And we are STILL trying to get our house keys back from her! Not a good experience.

Terra is positive, punctual, responsible, great communicator, and such a great influence for our dog. She walks our puppy a few times a week and has dog-sat for us as well. 5 stars from us.
